Hostería El Avellano: Ayacara, X Region of Chile (Lake District) Patagonia South America

El Avellano lodge is located in Ayacara, Chile (Lake District). The village of Ayacara represents the geographical frontier of wet temperate forests of the world, yet untouched and unpolluted. Where the Andes meet the Pacific ocean, lots of forest, beautiful creeks, waterfalls and meadows are part of the surrounding landscape.
Located in the province of Palena it is near Natural Park Pumalin, Puerto Montt, Chiloé island and Chaitén.

The lodge it is run by a local family offering a personalized service to the guests in hostelry, gastronomy and adventure tourism. From the lodge you can go on trekking and hiking trips to nearby Patagonian rainforest mountains and valleys as well as trout fly fishing in Patagonia crystal clear creek fresh waters. We also organize rainforest flora and fauna observation trips, birdwatching, horseback riding tours or sea kayaking in Pacific ocean fjords. As a rich cultural ethnic region we have also ethnical outings with local guides.
